So, my last journal was 18 months ago, and I've been barely present on DA since longer than that. Let's just say it's been a rough couple of years, what with going back to school, learning a new job, getting a new degree, working in that new job, moving twice, and being hospitalised for depression. haven't stopped drawing that whole time, but most of it was silly fanart which I didn't feel like posting here. But I'm trying to get back in the business of drawing my own characters, as well as learning to work digitally (as you might have noticed at this point). We'll see how that goes. I would have posted a big thank you yesterday, but I was too busy freaking out^^; This DD was honestly very unexpected, and that this particular piece was the one chosen was even more of a surprise. I did those "I'm okay" comics mostly because I had problems and didn't know how to explain them to people around me, and while I had hoped that maybe a few people would relate to them, I never expected this^^; I'm really glad it was chosen though, especially if it could make so many people realize that they weren't the only ones with that problem and give them ideas of how to deal with it.
